Checkr: A New Chapter in my Engineering Leadership Journey

Today, I’m excited to announce that I’ve joined Checkr, a San Francisco-based late-stage startup, as an Engineering Manager. This decision came after a thoughtful gap following my time at Twin Health—a period that gave me clarity on what I value most in my next role.

I was fortunate to have two outstanding offers: Checkr and another Cloud 100 company. Both had compelling missions, strong teams, and technical depth. But after meeting Checkr’s leadership—Krista, Jordan, Yev, Brad, Brett and Sandeep—and learning about their vision for the Crime Search service, I knew this was where I could make the most impact.

From Day 1, the culture, transparency, and focus on solving hard problems resonated with me. And as a fun aside: Checkr’s office is steps away from the San Francisco Mechanics’ Chess Club, where I spent countless evenings playing chess during my 8 years at Salesforce. It felt like a sign!

I’ll be leading engineering efforts on a critical part of Checkr’s platform, helping build trust and safety through technology. I’m grateful for the opportunity and can’t wait to contribute to this talented team.

To those who supported me during my gap—thank you. Onward!
